Some how I was always under the impression that 512MB was the maximum amount of memory I could have in my laptop.

But, I happened to be on Kingston's website browsing for memory for other systems...and decided to see what it said for this machine.

Well, it says I can go to 1GB. Now the machine came with both SODIMM sockets filled...so I'll need to buy two new SODIMMs and discard the old ones (or save them incase I should land a machine that can use them...or sell them on obay/ebay).

Though to decide...do I really need more memory in my computer....considering that its over 3 years old and I'm contemplating replacing the laptop around when it turns 4.

Though I'll probably keep the machine around for other things.... Something like what Quirky mentioned HERE.

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
