VoIP and my QoS settings

About the up/dn link values....

I originally was using 450/4500, only recently have I been playing around with the up/down settings. Playing with down seems to have no effect on my ability to get close to acheiving the 5Mbps that is claimed for my service....but I would like to get as close as possible to the 512kbps without affecting VoIP.

For the extended Lingo call (last night) I had it set to 460....bumped it to 470 after the call.

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
