WRT54GS & Lingo

The final thing was that it occurred to me that I hadn't yet tried the new wireless. I had taken down my old 802.11b AP and put the WRT54GS in its place....to serve as my new AP. I confirmed that my laptop was able to establish connection with the new AP (without need to change anything) and did minimal testing. Namely visit Poopli and check the progress of transfers. Later I turned my updater back on, which I had turned off yesterday...incase things didn't go as smoothly as they did (or to cut down on the requests I would get this weekend).

Though I forgot to clear my database when I turned off the updater, and when I remembered after returning to work. I found that during those few minutes somebody had slipped in another request. I filled it last night and it was done when I checked it just moments ago. One of RTV is busy sending, so I wonder what the status of all the other requests are...darn people that don't update.

Now to trundle into work and continue trying to save data from my dead workstation....and then get some shopping in before I visit pizzahut.com.... ;D

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
