Everything basically worked just fine on my laptop, except for one problem. My laptop is old and only has USB 1.1 ports on it. So, and it is only a P4M 1.8Ghz processor...though as previously mentioned I did recently up it to 1GB of RAM, which is the same amount currently in my desktop...except that the desktop is currently a P4 3.2GHz w/HT...and MSMoney2006 is already a slow on there as a major CPU hog, so it'll just be worse on my laptop. Perhaps more so, because performance settings are different. I have the laptop with "Processor Scheduling" set to "Programs" and "Memory Usage" set to "System cache", while the desktop has "Processor Scheduling" set to "Background services" and "Memory Usage" set to "Programs".
Next I set about to figure out the original reason I thought of getting a USB Key. I decided to go with just running GoodSync and synchronize between my RoboForm instances. Since I have a 3 computer license for RoboForm, I didn't have a need to acquire a separate license to Pass2Go to use the Key in this manner.
Hopefully, it'll all work...but there wasn't much to update, since to resync things on my laptop...I had taken a copy of the store on my desktop and replace the store on my laptop with it. So, there was nothing to sync. Though it occurs to me, that this would have the effect of removing password protection from my keys. I guess I should put that back. And, accept that I have my keys protected on all 3 computers. Instead of before with just my laptop and work computers (though there currently isn't a work computer, but eventually I expect to have one again
