SanDisk Cruzer Micro (2GB) w/U3

Now if there was only a solution that for the Mac....1Passwd doesn't count, since it can't use the data store directly or provide synchronization. Maybe I'll consider getting the Palm version, except I'm holding off until I buy my next device. It'll either be a Treo 700p or the Tungsten Tx, which large depends on whether the 700p is available from a good carrier for Manhattan, KS or I opt to maintain my growing CrackBerry addiction. I've been leaning towards the Tx, with the 700p as a possible substitution for my CrackBerry dependency....

Elsewhere I had noted my T-Mobile experience has been less than satifactory....namely it doesn't work at all from where I'll be working, and coverage was spotty in most other places. Even though the coverage map gave 3 bars for the areas I was in....I actually got either 1 bar or no service. And, I haven't heard any thing that going from the 7100t to the 8700g would improve reception. Though it is the upgrade I'm currently eyeballing.

Plus there's also the whole prospect of me walking around with 3 wireless devices (in addition to the usual PDA and digital camera, etc.) Though a Treo 700p would combine my usual PDA with one of the wireless devices. Wireless devices meaning cell phone like thing.

Largely because one would either be the current 7100t or the planned 8700g, and I'm contemplating picking up a prepaid cellphone for its camera function (just for the sake of having it...in addition to my current favorite the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2...wonder if Canon has a Powershot S90 IS in the works....preferring Sxx versus Sxxx, because they have 28mm as the wide end of the zoom. And, IS is great, since the built in flash is so useless for capturing life). And, occasionally there will be a third...for when it is my turn to carry it. Assuming hot phone duty is actually a phone :?

Originally, I was leary about the idea of combining Palm and phone, but since I've had the 7100t...I'm learning that it might not be so bad if I did....and with providers trying to lock you into 2 year contracts....device upgrades are happening less frequently. My Tungsten-T is getting pretty old. Though it is primarily an electronic datebook for me (because I really like DateBk3, etc.)

OTOH, if I also go with the Treo 700p...I might not need the pre-paid device...since it'll have a camera, and it'll also be on the same network as the pre-paid phone that I've been contemplating. Though maybe it'll just mean that I need to get a pre-paid phone on the network I'm leaving (since that network has done better for me in my travels than the networks that offer the Treo 700p)

But, the Tungsten Tx has WiFi...and there's a WiFi network at the University....which has better coverage all around.... Maybe a WiFi VoIP device is an answer....

Hmmm..... :.

2GB sounds pretty sweet. I opted for the cheaper 500MB model, but it's enough for my current needs.

Regarding 1Passwd, you mentioned:

This is true in the current version of 1Passwd, but the next release will have the ability to load the keychain data from any arbitrary location. This will allow you to keep your keychain on your USB key, or in theory any network-accessible drive.

Cheers!

And, it'll cope with RoboForm's encryption?

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
