A post-mortem of a recent trip....

Actually, I don't know how things would've gone using my Blackberry 7100t as a modem, because it was one of those areas that doesn't have T-Mobile coverage....so I was roaming on Cingular's network....though at the (Tri-Cities Regional) airport it was displayed as "Cingular", but at my final destination (Johnson City, TN) it showed as SunCom.

Which I kind of knew would be the case, since I had checked the T-Mobile Personal Coverage Check page to see what I might expect around the hotel (Comfort Suites - 3118 Browns Mill Rd).

When I thought relocating there would be something I might consider, I was looking at switching to Cingular...to stay with GSM technology and using it as the excuse to upgrade to a Blackberry 8700C. Otherwise, my current situation prevents me from considering upgrades....though I will likely hang on to it until I've had my 2 years with the device. Some how I thought it was longer, but when I got home I switched to the other battery and saw that it hadn't been two years yet.

If I'm still with T-Mobile, they have recently made the 8700g available.

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
