The end of dial-up

I just remembered that I was going to pull the plug on my dialup account by the end of last month. So, I just went and canceled it.

We'll see if that was soon enough to avoid getting charged for this month. Otherwise, I suppose I might get an angry email, because the info they have on my card gives last month as the expiration date.

Though Privacy Guard has expired information on my credit card, but still manage to charge it every year. They don't provide a secure online form to update/manage the information, so until they prompt for it...I won't give it to them. It was only a nuisance when I had a balance transfer on the card....

Speaking of Privacy Guard, I pulled my credit report yesterday....sadly my credit score has dropped 15 points. The only significant change since the last time I pulled my report was that I moved...though perhaps more importantly that doing so incurred a couple of credit inquiries....namely AT&T and Cox.

There'll probably be another hit soon from Sprint...hopefully, I'll still be in an excellent position to buy a home in the spring.

No feedback yet

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
