Verbatim DVD+R DL update

Good News. The Verbatim DVD+R DL's work great.

I have burned 3, one for each of the first 3 seasons of "Strange Days at Blake Holsey High". And, they are all playable. I didn't actually watch all the episodes...I only looked to see that I could load the menus and then play an episode near the beginning and near the end.

I just used a regular DVD-R for burning Conclusions

I wonder if I'll try Verbatim DVD-R DL's next....guess it depends on whether I need to circulate burned DL's and what kind of compatibility issues I encounter with the people I share stuff with.

Though since I'm currently not working, there aren't any co-workers to share DVDs with. I share stuff the same way people sometimes shared VHS tapes of missed shows, except since I don't own a VCR anymore...this is my way of doing things ;D

I see from reading your posts you like Firefly and Serenity, that makes you mighty awesome right there. Also, you like Black Hole High and I see you have made some DVD’s. Would you be willing to make copies of these DVD’s? I would of course pay for the shipping and the cost of the DVD’s, not problem there. My email is takeitsnape@aol.com. Could you please let me know either way, if you can that would be great, if you’re not willing, well then you are one luck sucker mucker.

Got hooked on the show after watchin it with my 7yrs old niece. She doesn’t care that much about it as does for some cartoons (powerpuff girls and Ami Yumi) but I got a serious BHH dependancy… At first I would watch it unintentionally every now and then, but in a couple of months got seriously into it. Now where I live it is only shown at 1am, 2:30 am and sats at 9:30pm, kinda hard to watch and all (I’ve fallen asleep and missed it a couple of times to my great remorse!)
Can’t wait to buy the darn DVD collection, when the catfight between the companies is finally over…..

At the old Discovery Kids webpage they got interactive scientific stuff related to every episode, told by Z in a very endearing manner

Well, this is interesting….seems over at tivocommunity.com, they have a thread discussing “Strange Days at Blake Holsey High"…and reference this post for the fact that I created some DVDs of the show, etc.

Wonder if they’ve noticed that I’m a ReplayTV person?

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
