Solving the Leopard Dock Stack problem....

On Monday, a co-worker appeared with a couple of boxes of Leopard. And, that's shipping boxes, which contain many copies of Leopard. I took one copy for my MacBook Pro.

After staring at the deep hologram effect of the package, I set out to upgrade my MacBook Pro to Leopard.

One of the first strange things was my Dock icons for home, applications, documents looked funny. After fiddling around for a while, searching with Google and discussing with co-workers....it seemed that there was nothing that could be done about this new 'feature'.

This morning, a solution came to me. What if I create an Alias of the folder, and rename it such that it'll be first and put that in each of the folders that I have in my Dock.

It works great! :!:

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
