What does My Mess look like today?

Was going through my photo collection and saw that it had been over two years since I last snapped a shot of "My Mess". So, here's what it looks like today:

As you an see there are still empty spots in my setup, some more obvious than others. There are some things I do plan to get, other things that may go away.

Wishing 50" DLP TVs hadn't ceased to exist? Why is that? The reason for a 50" DLP versus a 50" LCD or 50" plasma? Is that they were made with thinner bezels, so that certain DLP 50" displays would just fit between the posts of the stand. Will have to see what I do find and/or settle for. Back in the day...a 46" DLP would've been what just fit into the opening....now a 46" LCD with its huge bezel might not quite fit. But, Sears didn't stock the 46" size then, and at the time being able to get the TV from Sears was a factor. Never did have to use its extended warranty though.

Not sure if the Blu-Ray will be this year or next year now....

The clearly empty spot was made when I was thinking there would be a 3rd TiVo HD. Even though the plan was when I got cablecards for it...that I would probably have the technician take the HD DVR back with him. Moving the regular HD Tuner down for interactive features.

The Cox HD DVR might be more useful if it had more storage....and a more TiVo like experience.....but it fills in a backup role to my TiVo's on occasion. Though its pretty expensive renting the box and pay for its service....compared to a TiVo.

No feedback yet

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
