ZAGG | invisibleSHIELD | Apple iPod Nano 5th Gen

When I first got my iPod Nano 5th Gen I had gone with the plan to leave it naked, that way it I could maybe use it with some of the accessories that I have accumulate over the years that don't work with non-naked iPod devices.

Wish those companies would figure out how to make docks and suck that worked with covered iPods....

But, after a while, I started to get annoyed with how easily the iPod Nano picks up finger prints....so I wondered about some kind of screen shield to protect the screen, etc.

Decided something in the form of a thin skin might be something I wanted. I searched and searched...there was a pointer to some site called Zagg, but when I went there it was down for maintenance. So, I kept looking.

I didn't find anything, because eventually I went back to the site and found they were coming out with something. I thought about it for a day, and then pulled the trigger. Just happened that it was due to release that day...and alter I got notice that it had shipped, but no tracking information was provided because I had chose USPS...so that I wouldn't have to worry about planning its delivery around my schedule so that I could fetch it from the UPS store. However, the package came with delivery confirmation, so I could've 'tracked' it.

At first I was going to wait for deliveries for the day to finish, but I decided to risk it and apply it.

The spray threw me, and I tried looking for an application video...but none for the Nano, only one with spray...so I watched it and decided to go for it.

Not sure about the spray, I guess it helps the process. It was tricky getting it positioned, and after a few times I settled for close enough....it looks pretty good. Now to let it dry out and see how it fares in my pocket and the real world....

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
