Wonder if No Hassle Groceries will return

Link: http://www.nohasslegroceries.com

Or has it just died and gone away?

The site currently says "Temporarily Closed" and "will re-open on Saturday, September 5th." Well, its way past that date.

The last time I ordered was shortly after the bike accident in August, when I didn't have much use of right arm. It was handy then.

Last month I wanted to use it to stock up for the H1N1 flu, but it was showing that message. Now that the flu has past, I could really use a stock up....

What will I do now?

Maybe time to revisit using NetGrocer.

Did I hear Wingstreet is here?

Back when ordering fast food online was new, Pizza Hut was one of the first. And, living in Columbus, Ohio....I could get Wingstreet wings along with pizza orders. And, all was good.

Now I live in Manhattan, Kansas, home of the oldest continuously operating Pizza Hut location... But, things weren't as good. When I first arrived, online ordering from a local Pizza Hut was the issue. But, the oldest location now offers it....but they don't do everything that I had grown accustom to with online ordering from Pizza Hut. Though there are lots of other places that do online fast food now, so it hasn't been totally missed.

Yesterday, getting a ride home from a friend, I heard on the radio that Wingstreet had come to Manhattan...and I was pretty sure the Aggieville location has it now and the others were coming. That's okay, that's the location for online ordering.

So, I decided that it had been long enough since I had placed a Pizza Hut order, that it was time to give another shot.

:`(

Sadly, online order of Wingstreet Wings didn't show up as an option. I wonder if Pizza Hut pasta had ever made it to Manhattan, Kansas....because that's also still *not* an option....

But, I decided to complete an order anyways.... :>>

Making getmail.php work in b2evo 3.3.1

Once again the stock getmail.php didn't work after a significant upgrade in b2evolution version.

After a long and complicated battle, I have something that should work....we'll find out tomorrow.

First I had to do was add these two lines to 'inc/_core/_class5.funcs.php':

PHP

'mime_parser_class' => $inc_path.'_ext/mime_parser/mime_parser.php',
'rfc822_addresses_class' => $inc_path.'_ext/mime_parser/rfc822_addresses.php',

Should be obvious where they go....

Next problem was 'Could not parse data header!':

Changed preg_match to be:

PHP

if(!preg_match('#^(.{3}, )?(\d{1,2}) (.{3}) (\d{4}) (\d{2}):(\d{2}):(\d{2})#'$ddate$match))

Probably wouldn't have tripped me up if I had waited until September 10th to work on things further.... :>>

Then the final was that the 'html' email did not have an 'Alternative'.

Try this for size:

PHP

// mail is html
if( $parsedMIME['Type'] == 'html'){
    if (array_key_exists('Alternative',$parsedMIME)){
        foreach ( $parsedMIME['Alternative'] as $alternative ){
            if( $alternative['Type'] == 'text' ){
                echo_message'HTML alternative message part saved as ' $alternative['DataFile'], INFO);
                $strbody imap_qprintfile_get_contents$alternative['DataFile'] ) );
                break; // stop after first alternative
            }
        }
    } else {
        $strbody strip_tags(file_get_contents$parsedMIME['DataFile'] ),'<img><p><br><i><b><u><em><strong><strike><font><span><div><ul><li><a>');
    }
}

It Works! It Lives! It something something something ???

Link: http://b2evolution.net/news/2009/08/09/b2evo-3-3-1-stable-released

&#58;&#99;&#111;&#111;&#108;&#58; Yay! Asynchronous twitter notification of blog posts are working now.

What did I do? Why I upgraded to 3.3.1....

Realizing that today is a holiday and the weekly backup of my blog takes place on Monday morning, I decided that maybe sometime this afternoon would be a good time to make the push to the latest release....rather than go out into the nice weather and shop. &#58;&#99;&#114;&#97;&#122;&#121;&#58;

I had only done a quick of read of the upgrade process yesterday, and it didn't seem too daunting. Though I knew there were a set of customizations here and there that I would need to migrate.

I opted to move the various dirs of the old install aside and slowly transfer to new stuff up. With a few exceptions...like merging media and plugins, and getting my tweaks to the 'custom' skin over.

Only somewhere in the process of copying things over, I realized I hadn't actually done the update 'custom' skin step....so there was a mad dash to put that in. (I recall old skins are mostly compatible, so I could've copied my old 'custom' over the new one...but opted to figure out my changes and apply them to the new.)

Once over, things went pretty much straight forward. Only one skin element failed to work, I kept staring at the code, but couldn't figure out why...until I happened to look at the old source on the hosting side. Guess I had changed bits through ssh and not copied them back to my work area. Someday I'll have to get my work area back in sync with what's being hosted. &#41;&#45;&#111;

The other loss is that I had updated what smilies I have on this blog and the character translations....I think I got that back.

I then went through the settings reviewing stuff to see that I had things right and to see what stuff is new....

I think everything is sufficiently back to normal, so I'm calling it done. &#58;&#108;&#97;&#108;&#97;&#108;&#97;&#58;

b2evo to twitter not working asynchronously

Guess the upgrade to 2.4.7 didn't fix the problem.

Finally upgraded to b2evolution 2.4.7

Link: http://b2evolution.net/news/2009/05/28/b2evo-3-2-0-beta-woodland-hills-a-2-4-7-stable-tilman

Now I wonder when I'll get around to upgrading to 3.3.1-stable?

Of course, I ran 0.9.2 for an era or two before finally upgrading from there. Though since then I've avoided making customizations to the core. But, still there's a process that takes time....

Yet another PowerSource 400

Link: http://www.xantrex.com/web/id/204/p/1/pt/30/product.asp

That's right, I got another one of these. Bring the total that I have in my home to 4.

I had originally been looking at ordering through another site, that had it for less than what Amazon.com charges (especially since at the time I was looking Amazon.com was out of stock)....but, of course, the other route would mean paying for shipping. Which was okay, because the site in question offered FedEx Home Delivery. Which means I don't have to be home for me to receive it.

Though getting stuff from Amazon.com w/Amazon Prime by UPS hasn't been bad....I can time the order to coincide with when I'll be home late that morning, so I can get it before going in to work. A little trickier with other deliveries by UPS, but usually manageable.

The other site + FedEx Home Delivery is in the same ballpark as getting it by Amazon Prime. But, when it came time to place the order, I saw that Amazon.com had the units in stock again. So, I opted to delay placing the order, so that I could get it delivered today.

However, Amazon choose to fulfill this portion of my order using FedEx 2Day Saver...which means that it was to get to me by 4:30pm today. Well, it didn't arrive until 4:50pm. But, the annoying thing was I had stay home all day waiting for when it would arrive. Because unlike FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx won't leave my package even though I've filled out the leave package form before....

So far I haven't had issue with FedEx Home Delivery packages left for me when I'm not home, even when I wasn't given the tracking number by the shipper.... like the delivery of the Buckwheat pillow I got yesterday.

The Amazon Prime order included other items, and the rest came separately by UPS...which showed up at a normal/reasonable morning time.

&#58;&#42;&#42;&#58; Anyhoo....

This PowerSource 400 is slated to go where I had originally been planning to get another SmartUPS for my Home Theatre setup. Since I've been running this side with a regular UPS for years (in the post DLP acq...a CyberPowerSystems 1500AVR-HO and now a GeekSquad 1285)....I decided that a PowerSource 400 would likely serve me just fine in this location for less than another SmartUPS would be.

The GeekSquad 1285 would move to the back and run 'box', which has been running off another computer's UPS ever since its UPS died. Rather than to replace the failing CPS700AVR that backs up 'orac'.

Hopefully the PowerSource 400 will be adequate and giving long runtimes to the stuff on this side of the HT rack. Though I'm wonder if I shouldn't have measured things first. It would've been adequate for when it was ReplayTVs and some network equipment (cable modem, switch, router). But, the ReplayTVs have been retired, and now it'll be 3 TiVo HD's with external drives (currently just 2, but I see a 3rd in the not too distant future)....and some additional networking equipment.

And perhaps the media player and DVI switcher, I knew the media player wasn't protected...but was caught off guard that the DVI switcher isn't.

Hmmm, based on figures I have from google searches...3 might be cutting it close (especially with all the other stuff) if I want a reasonable runtime...perhaps I'll leave one of the TiVo HD + drive setups on the left side. Though I think I'll slate the 3rd one for there. Since I think a little cleanup of the nest of cabling might be in order.... &#58;&#104;&#109;&#109;&#58;

What does this mean?

"Account was in dispute-now resolved"

That's what shows up on my credit report for the credit card that the Chase Fraud Department had called me to inform that they had detected suspicious activity and will now close my account and issue me a new one.

They've never done something like this before, and this is the 3rd time this has happened with this card. The first time I disputed a charge that caused the card to be closed. The other two times, they called me.

It was extra painful this time around in getting the detected suspicious activity actually removed from my card.

I pay this card (like I do most others) in full every month.

I think its time to rethink who get's to be my Mastercard.

Not sure if the problems are Chase or Mastercard, but I haven't had this much of trouble with my other credit cards (had a problem years ago with a Visa check card, which is why I almost never use it now...even opted out of getting one the last time I opened a bank account)
