Number Port to Lingo

Link: http://www.lingo.com/

It is done...

My landline number now rings through on my Lingo service. ;D

Follow up:

At first there was a problem, because they had somehow gotten the number wrong and had changed one of the '1's to a '2'. Probably an internal note to somebody there that was hand written. Because it was typed in my communication, and in my previous emails it was correct.

I sent in to cancel the temporary number that I had gotten when I signed up. Though it was kind of neat to see distinctive ring service working.....I should probably explore having it back, which begs for another rewiring project. So only one of the numbers rings through to my phone...and have my fax machine answer the other. Instead of the local answering machine and automagic fax detect method that I use now.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that they have Universal Numbers for Calgary, Alberta. Which is the only place that I can see real value in having a Universal Number.

Now instead of subjecting some poor random forum to a long rambling thought, I will try to consolidate those things into this blog where they can be more easily ignored profess to be collected thoughts from my mind.
