Recently, TD Ameritrade completed its combination of us former TD Waterhouse users on their site. The letters all implied that the process, starting May 11th to May 14th, would be business as usual. Even though I would have new account numbers, I would continue to use the same checks, the same debit card, the same signon information.
But, first thing early Friday (May 11th) morning, I was no longer able to access my account using MSMoney.
I kept going through the new setup, which is still basically the same. I still had my special MSMoney login, but it wouldn't work. Since I was departing for a business trip that weekend, for a week, and I hoped that it was just a temporary problem due to the transition process....I put off calling TD Ameritrade to ask what was up.
Well, I'm back, and it still doesn't work. Just as I was about to call, on a whim I decided to plug in my site userid/password instead of the special login that the online service setup keep telling me that I needed....and it worked.
I wish somebody had mentioned this to me in either the letters mailed to me or the numerous emails, or even on the website on the popup about changes (which contained something about changes affecting Quicken users).
I wonder if they fixed the annoyance of how cash management is down in the OFX feed? ![]()
