Follow up:

This was actually kind of a hard picture to take.....it seemed like an eternity waiting for the 3rd alarm to go off, before I could take the picture.

First alarm...gradual ramp of radio....

10 minutes later...second alarm...clock radio beeping....

~5 minutes later...third alarm...a 65W CFL 5000K light comes on....

These days, I can get up on the first alarm (if I wasn't already up just before it)....now the second alarm hits me because I got into listening to whatever song or discussion was in the radio bit (this morning they were talking about coffee).

In the old days, I could still sleep through the 3rd if I wanted to....

Someday I hope I'll wake up refreshed....but for now, I don't think there's anything wrong with needing that one cup of coffee on weekdays. When I sleep in on weekends, I don't need coffee....though I'll get the caffeine-withdrawal headache in the afternoon if I don't. So lately I've been playing with French Press on weekends, and enjoying a nice cup or two.

Where cup is 16oz !
