Overheard in the line for my Southwest Flight

Southwest Airlines has a new boarding procedure....without any logic they give you a letter and a number, which gives you a spot in line to get on their plane. And, then it is open seating....

Not really a problem on my flight, since I'm traveling alone and I like aisle seats. So, as long as I can find one, I'm good.

Now when you check-in they give you a special ticket jacket to signify that you can pre-board. But, I overheard people complaining that flying with your 2 year old doesn't qualify you for pre-boarding and relies on the kindness of strangers if you want to sit next to your child.

Those people don't plan to fly Southwest ever again.

OTOH, this is my first time with Southwest....and I don't know what the future holds.
